8 self-care quotes to remind you to take better care of YOU!

Self-care quotes for single mothers | self-care routine, self-care activities, self-care ideas, self-care for moms, mental health, self-care tips, Paolo Coehlo, Elizabeth Gilbert,

A few months ago I shared a quotes post and it’s one of my most popular posts on Pinterest, so I’m guessing lots of you like quotes too!

I’m a big believer in the power of well-placed to lift the spirits and soothe the soul.

Quotes are also a great way of sharing everyday wisdom. Wisdom we’re often too busy, and too caught up in the day-to-day to remember. Just like self-care.

All mums, but especially single mums, need to make self-care a top priority. We’re no good to anyone else, including our kids, if we don’t.

It might feel indulgent to take a day off to go to a spa with a friend – I did this last week! – but it isn’t. It’s essential self-care that enables you to be a better you, instead of a frazzled, exhausted, mess.

So, I suggest picking your favourite amongst these and putting it up somewhere you’ll see it every day. Hopefully it’ll remind you to take a few moments – or perhaps a whole day – for yourself.

Then read THIS POST to come up with a few self-care ideas and get them booked into your schedule!

2 | “When you say “yes” to others make sure you are not saying “no” to yourself.”
